GET TO KNOW ME
I was born and raised in Florida, growing up at the beach, playing instruments, dancing, and riding horses. I have always cared deeply about people and the human experience.

I attended college at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) where I earned a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Criminology. While at UF, I conducted research with various psychology and criminology research labs, assisting in sex offender research pertaining to the Jerry Sandusky case and trial. Additionally, I had the opportunity to be part of the intercollegiate UF Equestrian Team and compete on the Huntseat team against various universities and colleges across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.

My life then took a turn and I moved to South Texas to teach Middle School in partnership with Teach For America. It was here that my passion for forensic psychology further developed and I knew I had a bigger purpose in life. All the while, I had the opportunity to volunteer with a local non-profit and assist with equine-assisted therapy services for adolescents and adults with various degrees of abilities.

I then moved to Southern California and completed my PsyD in Clinical Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I developed my clinical and assessment skills with both forensic and clinical populations, including work with sex offenders, parolees, juvenile offenders, and medical-legal populations. I also continue to educate and train graduate students as an Adjunct Professor at TCSPP in the Clinical Forensic Psychology department. Additionally, I completed training in Biofeedback and earned certifications from PATH International as a Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructor and an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, as my desire to connect humans and horses grew from a hobby to a calling.

Currently, I live in Kansas with my partner and enjoy investing my time and energy into my community. I volunteer when I can and always do my best to add value to others. I am a licensed psychologist in California, Kansas, and Missouri, practicing in both a clinical and forensic capacity, currently practicing at Clinical Associates, P.A. in Lenexa, KS. I enjoy getting to know people's stories and creating a life of significance.
